About

Why follow this blog?

The blog will offer an idiosyncratic, but hopefully also interesting and stimulating mix of links and posts to articles discussing aspects of Chinese culture, business & economics, and society as well as articles reflecting on international relations with China. In general, I will focus on more recent materials, but will occasionally include older backgrounders or posts which are still important in helping us to understand developments. While the selection of articles is naturally driven by my own interests, I hope that they will resonate with others who share a similar fascination with this huge and complex country.
